Day 818: Tomorrow Never Comes

By

G’day Shredders,

As many people know, Dougal from Mind Body Superfit has been having some serious health challenges over the past year stemming from a freak surfing accident that caused some major damage to his skull and spine. The good news is that Dougal has just successfully undergone a very serious operation to remove some hardware from his head that his body had been rejecting (present since his first operation one year ago).

I and many other Shredders are very glad to hear that Dougal is doing great, and we all wish him the speediest of recoveries from his latest operation, and trust that Dougal will be back with us in real time very shortly.

It really is times like these that make you realize how our lives can change course in a matter of seconds. The time we have here really is finite. This is why I firmly believe that living your life in “real time” and realizing just how little time we have here on this planet can be a great motivator for people who habitually procrastinate about taking massive action (like I did for 6 long years).

Here’s the bottom line: Tomorrow never comes, the only time you have is right here, right now.

Make the most of the time you have left on this planet  and be cognizant of that fact that your number will be called one day, the only question is when. The alternative is living a life that inevitably leads to that one place you don’t wanna be…the infamous “rocking chair of regret.”

Until tomorrow…

Eat Clean, Shred Hard, Think BIG!

Cheers,

Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT

P.S. Check out Dougal’s post regarding his successful operation here (made by Karen, Dougal’s First Lady!).

    Adam,

I am terribly sorry to have to ask a question through a post on your blog but in my inexperience with these matters I simply do not know what else to do. I have my blog established and I want to begin the process of membership to the RTP 30 day challenge. I have been receiveing your emails but I have either deleted the instructions on how to submit my blog or I simply never saw them. Here is our link http://lifebydezign.wordpress.com/ My goal is for my wife and I to do this together as a couple. Please take a look at the blog and tell me what to do next. Thank you in advance for all your help and motivation.

    Best Regards,
    Mitch & Cindy

All too often we get caught up in the petty little things in life that won’t matter next year or even tomorrow! But the decisions we make today affect our tomorrows and if you never take action by living in the moment, right here, right now… you won’t repeat the rewards. By Dougal having taken care of not only his body but also his mind, he is making great strides in recovery despite the rejection of the hardware. And of course having people praying for you all over the world “kind of” helps I would believe! So there you have it…build up your spiritual state, your mental state, and your physical state and you have a formula for success in all areas of your life…even healing your own body!

opps, typo in my last comment…i meant to say “reap the rewards” not “repeat the rewards” !! all the same, I guess…reap the rewards and then repeat the rewards on going!!

Great post Adam. I’m a firm believer in living in the present moment. I spent 12 years in the corporate “prison” thinking about when I would finally leave and pursue my dreams. Fear kept me there until I finally realized money and “security” didn’t matter. When I finally let go of that attachment, the abundance flowed to me like never before!!!
Have faith, take the leap, take action and do it today.

Hey Adam, please give Dougal and his family my best wishes, Kathy

Hi Adam: an amazing post today and besides myself I’m sure every human being with common sense would agree. Doing it now is what will bring us fulfillment and encourage others in some way. Ever thought of creating an e-book on just this topic and expanding? Adding it as a bonus to your RTP purchase?

Thank you Suzette, your comment is so true and so right! I think you should write a book Suzette, you certainly have a great way with words and an awesome story to tell!

Hi Lilla, wow! What a great post, living in the present tense certainly worked wonders for your life and your amazing journey since those days of your “corporate prison”, in fact your current journey is a testament to living in real time!

Thank you Diane! Great suggestion too! While I do cover this aspect of living your life in real time extensively in Module 4, this topic could be expanded to be a whole book all on it’s own. It really is a timeless principle that many people may benefit from learning more about. I’ll definitely keep this in mind!
    Shred on Diane,
    Adam
