Day 815: 2 Years Ago Today…
ByG’day Shredders,
Today is a very special day for me.
On this day two years ago I finally broke through 6 years of “self-imposed solitary confinement” and made a transformation of mind, body and spirit in 84 days that changed my life forever.
That’s right, 2 years ago today was Mission 1 Judgment Day! I still remember this day like it was yesterday (helps when you have a real time blog!) and the pride, accomplishment (and amazement) I felt by setting a goal…and actually following through!
On this day I also wrote the following:
“This is not the end, this is only the beginning, I will never go back!”
Weight Loss Is Not The Problem
While my journey since that day has not been “perfect” by any stretch of the imagination, I am extremely pleased that I did harness the “M1 Transformation Momentum” and continue my journey for a further four Missions conducted over the following 2 years (while maintaining a bodyfat percentage below 10% for the vast majority of this time.)
As my fat burning mentor, Tom Venuto stated recently on his Burn The Fat Blog : 8 Reasons Why You Keep Falling Off The “Diet Wagon” , weight loss is not the real problem, “weight relapse” is. What Tom meant by this statement was the fact that many people successfully lose weight, but not many who successfully keep it off (“weight relapse” rates run at 95% according to the National Weight Control Registry).
Real Time Accountability With The ShredderSphere!
WIthout a doubt, a big factor in my success in keeping the weight off has been the incredible accountability and support mechanism my fellow Shredders and I have created over the last 18 months with the ShredderSphere (real time accountability network of physique transformation bloggers).
I firmly believe that surrounding yourself with positive, like-minded individuals who will help keep you accountable to your new goals as well as giving you support and encouragement on “those” days when you are “not feeling it” can be the difference between “one shot” success and long-term maintenance.
Here’s the cool part! In this age of Web 2.0 it has never been easier to connect with like-minded individuals online. You can do it for free via a blog (like this one) and connect with a community (the ShredderSphere 1.0) almost instantly!
ShredderSphere 2.0 Forum and Blog Network

RTP Transformation System: Coming Soon
In fact, this strategy of harnessing the power of the Internet for accountability and support with an integrated forum and blogging network (via ShredderSphere 2.0) is a major component of the forthcoming RTP Transformation System!
With ShredderSphere 2.0 it is now easier than ever before to connect with like-minded positive people who all have one primary objective in mind: make a full blodded physique transformation, AND then harness their “transformation momentum” to keep the weight off for the long-term.
Over the next few days I’ll be discussing the key components of ShredderSphere 2.0 in greater detail.
For now, I really gotta get some sleep, I have a big day tomorrow! (Hint: Day 85 Mission 1!)
Until tomorrow…
Eat Clean, Shred Hard, Think BIG!
Cheers,
Adam Waters, NESTA-CPT
