Day 803: Video Milestone- 100,000 Views Of The Six-Pack Verdict

By

G’day Shredders,

Breaking news…Today my Day 137: M2 Judgement Day video passed 100,000 total views on YouTube!

This video documents the “intense” 24 hours over the end of Mission 2 when I held a public vote on whether my mid-section qualified as a six-pack! You can watch the video below to see how the events unfolded in real time!

Day 137: M2 Judgement Day – Six Pack Verdict

Original YouTube Description: 94 Responses from 22 Countries over 12 hours to my public vote on my blog as to whether my midsection qualifies as a six-pack. At stake is my $1500 pre-paid trip to Phuket. The following takes place on March 24, 2007. Events occur in real-time.

In other news…Over the last 3 days my computer has been crashing big time. On average I am rebooting  about 20 times every hour. I’m not sure why this has been the case but I think it may have to do with the recent installed update to my Mac OS (10.4 – Update 008). And when my computer isn’t crashing my browser and other apps more or less crash at the drop of a hat! The only way around it is to basically have only 1 app open at any one time and hope it last longer than 5 minutes!

If anyone else is experiencing the same thing (running the same system) please let me know of any workarounds you have discovered to get your computer running smoothly, I would very much appreciate that!

Until tomorrow…

Eat Clean, Shred Hard, Think BIG!

Cheers,

Adam Waters, NESTA-CP

That update has a fault that affects the registry. A new update will be available to fix this problem but I would try resetting the PRAM and NVRAM. Here’s how if you don’t know:

    Turn on the computer.

Instantly HOLD DOWN the Command, Option, P and R keys.

HOLD the keys DOWN until you here the computer restart and only release once you here the restart sound.

If this doesn’t change anything, go back to software update manually daily as this is a big blunder by Apple and will be fixed quickly I’d say.

Remember that we are only “here for a short time”, good advice!

Hi Retro, thanks heaps for your tip mate. I thought there must have been something wrong with that latest update from Apple. I’ll try your method now…hopefully this will make my computer stay alive for more than 5 mins at a time!
