=====================================================
G’day Shredders,
Welcome to Day 5 of RTP Group Shred 2.0!
Happy Halloween to all my fellow Shredders! As you can see from today’s pic I became an aging rocker for nephew’s birthday/Halloween party!
A Very Important Topic
For today’s video topic I discuss a very important component of physique transformation, nutrition. Many experts will tell you that your nutrition comprises up to 80% of your results.
While my philosophy is a little different (I believe there is an interdependent relationship between nutrition, training and mindset) there is no doubt that if you don’t eat clean consistently you won’t get “fast” results.
For many people, one of the big challenges of maintaining their “clean” nutrition plan is when they attend parties, events (Halloween, Christmas, etc) during the holiday season and feel the “social pressure” of “fitting in” and succumbing to temptation.
How To Avoid Holiday Season Over-Indulgence
My advice in these situations is two-fold, if possible prepare ahead of time and re-arrange your schedule to have your “reward meal” on the day of the party and always keep your PRW (Powerful Reason Why) at the forefront of your mind while you are at the party to keep you “in line”.
If you have any suggestions regarding how to avoid overindulgence throughout the holiday period please feel free to leave your comments below. In the meantime watch the video from Group Shred 1.0 for Day 5 for all my best “eating clean” info!
Congratulations Danny!
Before I sign off today I’d like to send a massive congratulations to Danny from Physique Improvement Blog who passed his PAST test with flying colors. Great work Danny, your shredding has really paid off mate!

For Halloween I have deliberately have let not one piece of candy cross through the threshold of my apartment. But then, I don’t have kids.
Haha. Love the pic. Very rock n’ roll.
well it’s too late for me on the clean eating on halloween! have already raided my kids’ halloween candy!!
I love your hair today!!! so fitting to you…lol!
How glam!
Good thing I’m far away from any candy!
Hi Christy, Suzette and Ron, I hope you all had an awesome Halloween and enjoy the upcoming holiday season (which can be very testing!)
PS I think there is an inner rocker in me trying to get out!
Adam! Hilarious picture! This is waht I call a “good-hair-day”. Thank you for the video…I will make for us a tuna with lots of salad-leaves inspired by you.
Have fun today,
Juli
Haha – love the costume!
Great video too! I’ve read that sardines are another good protein and omega-3 source and easy to prepare like tuna but lower in mercury. A salad option if you can stand the sardine-y smell!
p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR NEPHEW! Hope it was a great one!
Great to see you let your hair down Adam!
I must say that you have won out on the BEST Halloween Shredder (I lost for sure), and you can become a top rocker anytime. Love that hair. Love those jeans.
Lynda
Where’s the gituar mate?:-) this is the time we need to be conscious of “treats”…halloween, Us thanksgiving and then Christmas…I usually chew a piece of gum if I am tempted, and chew on my PRW!!
