=====================================================
G’day Shredders,
I’m blown away…again!
On only 24 hours notice all 17 participating Shredders are batting at 100% in Group Shred 2.0 after Day 1! It is awesome to see so many of my fellow Shredders on board and firing on all cylinders!
Today (Day 2) is a day of consolidation, it is extremely important psychologically to back up your Day 1 efforts with another strong day in order to start ”snowballing” your self-belief. Wtach the video below to learn more about “Day 2 Mindset.”
N.B. Long-time Shredder, Shari from Fit at Fifty Blog will be joining us for RTP Group Shred 2.0! As Shari was away for the weekend and this Group Shred was kicked off on 24 hours notice I believe Shari deserves a place in this Shred. Shred hard Shari!
N.B. Unfortunately I am still having issues uploading the raw video files from my video camera onto my “long in the tooth” laptop (my main computer is still on it’s way from Japan!). However, I may have a solution figured out that will enable me to upload daily videos for Group Shred 2.0. I will test this theory today…stay tuned!
Shredder Pact:
We will focus on the single daily actions that produce results,
We will burn our bridges and not look back,
We will never surrender.

Adam, this is so exciting…as per my post today I suggest that another plan be stirring to continuse after day 14…the momentum is too high to slack off, and it is clearly apparent that all of us were looking for a kick start!
You are looking amazing…noticed on Sunday’s video how muscular your liegs were and man, you were sitting:-) Sweet!
Hey Adam,
I am also blown away by all the dedication and encouraging comments which I received since yesterday. It inspires and motivates me a lot to see what all the other Shredders do, how dedicated they are and how much they work towards their personal goals.
I am literally excited to be part of this group-shred and proud to call myself a Shredder.
Juli
P.S.: “Proud to e a Shredder “could inspire Lilla to make up a new badge like the “Shredder+”-invention,
.-
You’re so right about the “snowball effect.” It gives one the momentum to continue and avoid undoing one’s hard work. I’m loving this group challenge!
Adam–Thank you so much for adding me to the challenge. That was sweet of you.
Thanks for commenting on my blog adam.
And yeah i agree with the importance of day 2.
Its all about creating the habit of consistently taking the extra step, making the extra rep or running the extra mile.
I recall “earthquake intensity” beeing a very fitting word from you past posts.
And everyone in this challenge really seems to have this factor figured out.
Good Luck to everyone participating.
Shred On
Danny
P.S.: Thanks again, adam for organizing this fantastic “GS 2.0″
Hey Adam,
Participating in this group challenge and reading and commenting the blogs is really motivating me to stick to it and give it my all! Stoked that I jumped in when i did.
So i’m half way through day 3 and diet has been spot on so far
Keep at it hard man
Nick
I am so glad for this group challenge I had been struggling with my eating for almost a week now and I need this to kick myself back into gear. Thanks for letting me join and for being such an insperation. have an awesome day tomorrow Angie
Wow! Adam, you look great. It looks like you have a lot more in Australia than you did in Japan.
Happy Day 2 everybody! I can feel that group shred excitement kicking in.
Hi Diane, I believe a 14 day period is a great time frame to kickstart the momentum but I also agree with you about keeping the momentum going. Stay tuned!
Thats great to hear Juli! I and many other Shredders are proud of you too and really enjoy your your blog and the supportive comments you make on Shredder blogs, shred on!
Adam
G’day Lilla, it is very true, now we gotta turn that snowball into an avalanche!
My pleasure Shari, it is great to have you on board! I’m looking forward to seeing your continued progress, shred hard!
My pleasure Danny, you have made tremendous gains since you started and I have no doubt you will pass your big test with flying colors mate!
PS You can’t go wrong with EarthQuake Intensity!
Great to hear Nick, on Day 3 already! You must post early in the day man! Shred hard for the (small) Aussie contingent!
Hi Angie, it is great to have you on board, and I know how tough it can be to stick with it in the early stages, I trust you will gain strength from the Shredder community throughout your journey of transformation.
Thanks Christy, you are very kind (as always!). It really is awesome to see you back in action again! Thank you for all your support and positive energy and inspiring many other Shredders with your example. Shred hard!
Adam,
You don’t know me but I have been following your blog for the past couple of months. My life was stuck in a rut and I had to make some drastic changes. In the last six weeks (since I started to make the change) I have quit drinking, quit smoking, lost 13lbs of weight and increased my fitness massively (6mins off my 5k time for instance). So much of what you have written on your blog has resonated with me and has provided massive and much needed inspiration and encouragement which I don’t get anywhere else because of the constant negativity of the ‘energy vampires’ I am surrounded by. Your blog has been a great source of information on the truly mental and emotional side of making a life change (not just fitness and physique but in any area of life) and has made all the difference for me so far anyway. The catharsis of pouring years of pain and frustration into training has not only improved my fitness and training quality but has also provided a great source of mental improvement.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know, for what it is worth, how much help this thing has been to another anonymous guy. I think that as soon as I get a camera, I will set up a blog of my own, as of yet my accountability has just been writing down strict nutrition and training logs for my own use.
Take care and thanks!!!
