Day 607: Milestone – 300,000 Visitors!

By

G’day Shredders,

A couple of days ago I did my monthly blog stats (as shown in the right-hand nav bar) and noticed I hit a major milestone – 300,000 visitors to RTP Blog since Day 42!

N.B. This blog was “secret” for the first 42 days!

These visitor stats are actually compiled from both versions of my blog as a lot of traffic still goes to RTP Blog 1.0 at www.RTP-Blog.com due to the fact that a lot of links still point there.

My WordPress Experience

However, the interesting thing is that the daily visitor stats have tripled since I moved my blog over to WordPress (the blog you are on right now). I believe this is due to the simple fact that it loads much quicker than my old blog so people come back more regularly.

In short, while there a few minor things I’d like to see implemented with WordPress (more widget functionality!) I highly recommend the WordPress blogging platform if you are considering becoming a Shredder

N.B. If you are currently using Blogger you can import your whole blog into WordPress with a single click (though you may have a few formatting issues to work out).

Catch ya,

AJ

That’s a massive number Adam. I am so proud to be a part of it from nearly the beginning! To go from a “secret” blog to a massive “shreddersphere”! All part of thinking and dreaming Big!

Only 278,000 more views and I’ll catch up to you!! lol.

Congrats, Adam. That’s awesome! Loved seeing the B&N Stealth mission again too.

Congrats on the 300k mark and for the tip on suggesting wordpress. Loved seeing the video of you purchasingthe magazine. I have my own copy nearby signed by a transformational guru. Is transformational a real word? Maybe it’s a mix of someone who transforms his physique and is also a wealth of knowledge!? I’m getting silly so I’ll stop. I need a strong cup of coffee and my Nike chip so I can hit the pavement.

    Huge milestone Adam, congratulations!

I agree about WordPress, it is very good. In fact, I’m finding it better than hosting my own WordPress blog!

    Adam,
Congratulations on breaking this milestone. Your stealth mission to B&N was a hoot.

Need your help – I sumitted my click charge number in order to get the download info for your Metabolic Surge stuff. Haven’t heard back with the password etc. ??

    Thanks.
