In yesterday’s Day 598: Light At The End Of The Tunnel Post my Fellow Shredder Lilla: Self Fulfilling Prophecy Blog picked up on another bit of Aussie slang (and gave an excellent definition of how it is used!)

Fair Dinkum! 

Since the majority of visitors to this blog are not from Oz I thought today would be a good time to explain the Aussie slang word I most often use, and have the first Aussie RTP Quiz!

Fair Dinkum: real, genuine, true. To proclaim a fact or truth in a statement in such a manner. For example, “At the age of 32 I felt that this was my last shot at a fair dinkum physique transformation”
