RTP Turbo: Accelerated Fat Loss (The Last 10 Pounds)
Thank you very much for your kind Christmas wishes, and also for sharing a massive 2009 in the Sphere. I trust every Shredder had a very Merry Christmas and are gonna have a Shredded New Year!
The last few days have been great catching up with family and getting in some quality bodyweight training (minus the gym as it is closed here on the Coast) and “freestyle” cardio. My fave pressie was a new Wilson tennis racquet. Tennis was my favourite sport when I was a teenager (closely behind rugby and cricket) and I look forward to some intense battles with my bro on the court we have in this complex (he’s well and truly got me covered in golf so I gotta get him in tennis!).
Christmas Day 2 years ago I started a “hard-core” shred phase for Mission 4 (first meeting with Tom V). While Christmas is traditionally a time for overeating and indulgence I made a decision to buckle down and take my training and nutrition up a notch. It turned out to be the best move I could have made as I hit my goal at the end of 84 days, just before “Judgement Day”!
In the spirit of that Shred I am starting up my Mission 7 Pre-Shred 2 days before Christmas this year as it is time for me to take my training and nutrition up a gear for the February kick-off kick-off of the “Real Time Group Shred Calendar 2010″ with my fellow ShredderSphere.com Shredders, and the one and only Carlos DeJesus (a world-first with a world champion!) . Here is a sneak peak of the “Group Shred” year ahead inside the ShredderSphere, we have definitely got a full schedule!

IMPORTANT: After 1000+ days I have taken some time off from daily blogging to focus on finishing the next book (RTP Muscle), an update to the original RTP Transformation System (2.0 Version!) and also setting up new functions and features inside the ShredderSphere.com Support Community.

What an awesome time the Aussie Shredder Summit 2009 was! We had a wonderful action-packed time meeting our fellow ANZAC Shredders over 3 days from Friday to Sunday.

On Friday night we met up for dinner at Kabuki which featured all-you-can-catch dinner served up from our cook 10 ft away! We had a couple of dropped catches (of rice and eggs!) but we all had a great time!

Saturday at SouthBank: Blaster Challenge!
On Saturday arvo, we kicked off with a BYO Lunch in the beautiful SouthBank gardens in Brissy and followed up with a Quad Blaster Challenge and a very competitive game of touch footy (I can’t remember who won that one!).
NOTE: An Australian Quad Blaster record was set on this Challenge by the one and only Jules!!!

Saturday Night Boat Cruise with Special Guest Lilla!
We capped off our action-packed day with a Boat Cruise on Saturday Night when we all got a massive surprise…esteemed NY4 Shredder Lilla came up all the way from Byron Bay!!!
It was awesome for all ANZAC Shredders to see the one and only Lilla and we had a great time together discussing the Sphere, our fellow Shredders, and our Shred journeys. The food was A-Plus and the tunes were cool too…the dance floor even saw some Shredder Action before we docked!

And then on Sunday we had an awesome bike ride through the heart of Brissy after a stint at the Riverside Markets. We went from the Botanical Gardens across the Goodwill Bridge, and then over the Storey Bridge (after a slight detour!) and then across the Riverside bike track and back to the Botanical Gardens…all in 45 mins!

After our bike ride we made a quick stop on Queen St. Mall (to pick up some classified items!) and then made our way back over to SouthBank for our Summit Sayonara (and to celebrate my Mum’s B’day!).
I would like to say amassive thank you to AussieCleo, Jules, Mummie, Renae and Lilla for making this first Aussie Shredder Summit so much fun! Dave and I had an awesome time with you and we both look forward to seeing you continue to shred massive in the Sphere and maybe even catching up again another time!
Today was another massive day in Shredder Folklore…the NYC Shredder Summit Central Park Event! Myself and 30 of my fellow Shredders gathered in Central Park to conduct our inaugural Quad Blaster Challenge with the one and only World Champion himself, Carlos DeJesus!

Wow! What a day! Today was completely off the Richter in every possible way! On this day, August 8, 2009 the winners of the RTP Transformation Contest 2009 received their Mega Prize Package and Itinerary!
Announcing The RTP Grand Champions 2009 and 120 Missions Successfully Completed!
In the last 24 hours 120 Shredders officially declared “Mission Accomplished” on their 12-Week Shred, 20 Contest Finalists were recognized for their outstanding achievements, and two amazing Shredders were announced as the winners of the World’s First Real Time Accountability Body Transformation Challenge!
As you can see from the new Shredder Hall of Fame on our home page this Global Shred Mission has been a massive success. Shredders from all walks of life across 28 countries joined together in common cause and shredded their way to a total mind, body and life transformation! And not only that, we have formed bonds and friendships that in many cases will last a lifetime, the support inside the ShredderSphere has quite literally been off the Richter, and I thank each Shredder for making the Sphere a unique place where people can make their dreams a reality.
I would also like to thank my mentors Carlos DeJesus and Tom Venuto for making this Global Shred Mission possible, helping massively behind the scenes dispensing your words of wisdom, inside the Sphere giving advice and encouragement to our fellow Shredders, and also for your very professional, deliberative and thorough judging for the Contest over a 48-hour time period . Without your mentorship and guidance this would not have become a reality. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you Mike Groom and ShredderSteve for your massive help with ShredderSphere Tech Support and Sphere design. Thank you for your expertise in running the Sphere, without your support the Sphere and all the cool new additions would not exist.

Well, you’ve read my story, you know how I’ve worked the program, what my results were, and how thrilled I am.
I wanted to also take the opportunity to reflect a bit on the RTP system. Why did it work for me? I am in the best shape of my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE! How can this be?
Like many on the shreddersphere, I was no newbie to fitness. The information I received on diet and training in your e-book was not earth-shattering. I have read and attempted to follow Body for Life – several times. I have read John Berardi’s web sites and blogs. I follow t-nation, bodybuilding.com and countless other fitness web sites. I’ve been to the gym a few times, worked out with trainers.
Bottom Line: Even before discovering and purchasing RTP, I KNEW what to do to get in the best shape of my life, but I NEVER applied this knowledge.
Adam, your program offers something VASTLY different. You don’t just talk about visualization and goal-setting, you show us how and keep us accountable. You put equal emphasis on the mental and emotional work and transformation as you do the physical.
And – you provide all the tools! You spell it out. The training and nutrition is idiot-proof! I was forced to up the intensity of every workout in a way I have never experienced before. The training and nutrition logs were invaluable. The accountability log and daily blogs are totally unique. And key to the success of this program.
I was very skeptical about the shreddersphere. I am an introvert and a private person. I have never blogged, posted to a public discussion board, nor participated in any online community (except Facebook) before. But you have developed something special here. The tone here is so positive and supportive. Having a closed community makes it safe – don’t need any near-naked pics of me circulating at the office!
Yes, it takes massive effort. RTP is NOT a quick fix. It is NOT easy. But you have provided step-by-step instructions on how to work it. I didn’t have to think, just do.
AND, your sincere and encouraging presence is most welcomed. I have perceived you as a role model and mentor, someone who has been there like the rest of us. This is very different than following the program of an “expert.” It is very easy for me to say, well, easy for him, he does this for a living, but we mere mortals could never accomplish all that. But your story is so compelling, it made me believe that it IS possible for me to reach my goals, too.
So, thank you, from the bottom from my heart. I am thrilled to be a part of this community and hope I can give back even a fraction of what I have gained from it.

Quad Blaster Challenge 2.0!
I rose early to get in my first protein powered oatmeal before Showdown 2.0 with the infamous Quad Blaster! That’s right Tom Venuto and I were returning to the “scene of the crime” for another round of Blaster action, at the very same spot in the very same gym we were at 500 days earlier!

Meeting The RTP Grand Champions At W.Hotel Hoboken!
At 3:00PM, Tom and I made our way over to the W. Hotel Hoboken to meet the RTP Grand Champions and give them their tickets for 2 night’s stay, and went through their Massive “Event Day” Itinerary for the next day!

NYC Shredder Summit “Meet & Greet”
After meeting the Contest Winners Tom and I attended the most exciting event of the day…meeting our fellow Shredders at the NYC Shredder Summit “Meet & Greet”!
This was without a doubt the most surreal experience of my life, when Tom and I walked through the doors we were overcome with emotion, the sight of seeing 50 of our fellow Shredders in one place at one time was completely Off the Richter!
I immediately recognized so many fellow Shredders from the ShredderSphere.com community who we had been following for the previous 3 months. It was such an awesome feeling to see so many happy, glowing faces and transformed physiques!
The best way for me to show you just how cool this experience was is to show you some pics of this Event!

Today was a long day, I flew in from L.A. to NYC on a 6 hour flight (landing at 4:40PM at JFK airport). From the airport I hopped on the Manhattan bus which got me into NYC 90 minutes later.
Meeting NYT Best-selling Author AJ Jacobs!
After checking in at my hotel I then had an appointment to meet an NYT Best-selling author, AJ Jacobs at his apartment in NYC. He was very interested in the RTP Transformation System and possibly using RTP & The Sphere to transform his Physique (which he would also document in his next book – on body transformation!).
My Daily Pic: On this day, AJ actually took my daily at his apartment – along with some funny pics with him and me! However, I am still yet to receive those pics from AJ, but when I do I will upload them onto this post.
